Drama Review: Surplus Princess Episode 6

Episode 6 was a turning point for our share house roommates who all experience some type of dose of reality that  could help aide them in becoming more than "surplus humans".

Being the topic of office gossip won't look good on your career, stop smiling.
Can I just say how much I dislike Jin Ah and wish for her to fall off that only cliff in South Korea? I get that she's obsessed with Shi Kyung and wants him because he's rich, but damn to start your own rumor is just low. Does she not get that this is that one thing that won't get you any respect in the work place? If people know your slept your way to the top then you're officially ostracized from your coworkers and they'll talk about you behind your back (as witnessed when she walked out to meet Ha Ni), but I guess hoping for some self respect from her isn't wishful thinking, huh? Well at least they're somewhat consistent with her bitchiness so we can continue to expect that from her. But i have this weird feeling they'll have her try to go back to Hyun Myung once she realizes Shi Kyung isn't what she expected or she sees him being happy with Ha Ni. Being happy is the best revenge, just remember this Hyun Myung-sshi.
Speaking of Hyun Myung, I was glad we got to somewhat see his family. I mean his uncle was jerk, but only wanted him to make something of himself although yelling at someone isn't exactly the way to go about that. It's obvious he's always wanted to make something of himself and be the great person his grandmother said he was, I know her death will now be the motivation he needs to really succeed. He's a good guy who just got stuck in a routine of putting in job applications and nothing ever coming into fruition so eventually you stop trying. This aspect of his life can hit home for many unemployed people, when you try for so long and still don't have a job then you almost give up hope. It is a good thing that he is working right now even if it is to pay Ahn Ma Nyeo back it's a good start for all of them especially Ha Ni, who is now learning responsibility. Although her crush on Shi Kyung is sort of clouding her judgment at the moment.
Speaking of someone's judgment being clouded due to their crush, I am happy that it seems Big is now in the process of getting over Suzy (no, not THAT one). It was very obvious she only thought of him as a friend especially since she started dating his friend. I'm sure she knew he had a crush on her, but chose not to say anything. I am glad he was dropped back into reality and can fully move on with his life and not be hung up on a girl who never liked him in that way. Big may be getting over Suzy, but will be start to like Hye Young? It seems a new ship may start sailing soon especially looking at episode 7's preview. But wait, what about her long time crush on Sun Kyu? Surely he will have something to say, right? I mean, he never looks too interested when she attempt to feed him, but maybe this will "awaken" him. *gasp* We could another love triangle!
Well after Jin Ah's little stunt, it does seem that Shi Kyung does indeed like Ha Ni. I know it isn't his fault for her overhearing, but I wish he wouldn't have let that little lie go on. He said he'd help Jin Ah, not straight up lie for her when she made a mess. He was making a point to Miss Kim, but it will have an even bigger effect on Jin Ah since it is obvious he doesn't like her in that way and she'll be the center of office gossip. Miss Kim will not like this since she already heard it like 5 times that day. I know he meant well, but he could have simply cleared up that rumor and also make his point. Alas, he did it and will [hopefully] go after Ha Ni if his feelings are real.
