Episode 11
Sitting in Young Ja's office, Chae Won tells her that even if she has to be dragged out in a coffin she's not leaving Chul Gyu's side. Young Ja calls her ill-mannered and notices how she's trying to get revenge on her. Then he walks in asking what he wanted with Chae Won, she gets offended and wonders if she needs permission to speak to his wife. Then he sees the envelop sitting on the table and sees the money inside. He asks if she was trying give Chae Won money in exchange for a divorce. Then wonders why he would think that since he's the one who's trying to emigrate. She tells him that if he really wants to move then he'll have to resign first. He's one step ahead of her because he sets his resignation letter down on the table. I don't think she was quite expecting that and becomes upset while Chae Won is smirking to herself. Young Ja then tells him to hand in his company credit card and car keys, he sets them down without hesitation. He says that he's not doing to scare her, he really means it. Young Ja then holds the back of her neck and Chae Won asks if she's okay. Well of course she moves her hands off of and has this odd look of anger and frustration on her face. As they walk out, Chae Won wonders if she'll be okay. Chul Gyu seems to think so since her secretary gave her a sedative. He asks her if she wants to eat with him in the company cafeteria and asks her to meet him there. Chae Won says that she didn't know that he'd be this determined, he takes her hand and tells her to trust him. Young Ja is sitting in her office eating and complaining about how she didn't raise her son to be this way, how she's losing everything to a girl who isn't worth a dime. She starts crying, but not enough to make you feel sorry for her. She says that Chae Won will never steal her son away from her and she cries again.
Sorry, but I had to post a screen shot of her eating and crying, it just grossed me out lol. Her crying about losing her son is just ridiculous. She doesn't realize that it's her fault for him wanting to move out in the first place. Had she been a better mother-in-law to Chae Won none of this would happen. Well if she didn't have this unhealthy obsession with her son this really wouldn't have happened.
At work, Se Yoon sees a couple of employees carrying to JuRi out. They said she had just had just passed out, the ambulance was waiting outside for them to take her to the hospital. Se Yoon looks concerned and follows them out. When she wakes up, she sees that she's in a hospital and has no recollection of what had happened. Se Yoon stayed by her side and told her she had passed out at work. The doctor said that it was due to stress and exhaustion and she should stay one more day to get some tests done and to rest. He apologizes thinking that it was because of him that she became stressed. She asks him to leave because she's embarrassed to appear like this in front of him. She tells him that she wants to have love from him, not sympathy.
Hyo Dong is riding his bike carrying a pig's head when he sees Choon Hee, he tells her that he's on his way back to the house to deliver it. Naturally, she'd stand offish and doesn't want to see him. She warns him not to bring any rice cakes from the good luck ritual since she doesn't want to be humiliated by his mother-in-law. He asks her not to be mad at him for what happened the other day and she says there's nothing to be mad at. He says that she has treated him so well even being concerned about his daughter that he thought she was being sincere with him. She tells him that she has no intention of sharing her true feelings with him. She walks back inside then she sees Kang Jin who is obviously upset he's still trying to visit Choon Hee. Hyo Dong tells him to mind his own business then Kang Jin leans in and tells him that Madam Yang has her heart set on someone else, he then points to himself. He says that they hit off after their movie date. Oh you Rooftop Oppa you! Hyo Dong gets on his bike and leaves, Kang Jin says to himself that he still can't accept reality and will only get hurt. So does this mean he actually thinks she likes him, even thought she's said numurous times to leave her alone and that she can't stand him? Rooftop Oppa, I think it's YOU who can't accept reality lol It's quite obvious that she likes Hyo Dong, plus she never really denied anything only saying that she'll never reveal her true feelings.
Back at the Uhm household, the good luck ritual is underway when Hyo Dong arrives with the pig's head. Kang Sook says that as someone who has worked with pigs for a living, that's a good head. Do Hee says what does she know when she's only worked with the feet, Ki Ok laughs. Pyong Dal calls up the oldest, Ki Moon. Do Hee runs up and sticks 50,000 won in the pig's mouth and Ki Moon bows in thanks. It's now Ki Choon's turn and Kang Sook is able to get the money from Hyo Dong. Do Hee doesn't look too happy that she has also given money. After the ceremony, Kang Sook is plating the rice cakes while Do Hee is eating them then she chokes and asks for water. Although unhappy, Kang Sook hands her a glass of water. Then Do Hee asks for coffee, but saying let's drink it together by calling her Madam Kang. Kang Sook is clearly pushed now by asking if she's their family's helper.
Do Hee feigns innocence and says is it wrong for her to ask for a cup of coffee, but Kang Sook isn't swayed by this and tells her if she wants it so bad then she should get it herself. She came her to be a successor to the family business, not do her tasks for her especially since she's obviously busy. Do Hee says she's still the same and doesn't let anything get past her then she says something under breath. Kang Sook catches this and demands to know what she said because it sounded like poison. By this time both of their husbands walk in wanting to know what's going on. Kang Sook says that Do Hee said she was a poisonous snake ready to attack and Do Hee claims she never said that, but Kang Sook says that she said she had venom to attack with insisting she said the word venom. Do Hee is saying that she's only saying it to make her look bad and Ki Choon tells his wife to stop it, but she says she needs to talk it out and she wants to know what she meant. Ki Moon says a puppy since Kang Sook has a cute and busy side to her, this makes his brother clap saying bravo saying his acting instincts have improved. Then their mother walks in asking for a plate of rice cakes, everyone(especially lazy Do Hee) rushes to give a plate to her, but Kang Sook is quicker since she had already wrapped some up in a plate. Kkeut Soon is on her way out and asks Ho Dong if he wants to go with her to deliver the rice cakes to Madam Yang since she has to pay her, he declines her invitation. Ki Ok comes through and already knows what her mother is up to, she defends Hyo Dong saying he's not like that and Madam Yang already has a boyfriend. Kkeut Soon guesses it's Rooftop and Ki Ok wonders how she knew that. She visits Choon Hee and hands her the plate of rice cakes, she grumbles that she didn't want any rice cakes from the ceremony. Kkeut Soon wonders how she knew that there would be rice cakes today. Choon Hee hesitates and says that her son-in-law told her when she saw him riding his bike carrying the pig's head. Kkeut Soon becomes upset and accuses her of not helping herself by speaking to him. She says intentional or not she warned her about speaking to him. Choon Hee is quite upset that she can't talk back due to Kkeut Soon being older. To get rid of her, Choon Hee says that Hyo Dong isn't her type since she likes a strong man with a house. Kkeut Soon becomes happy asking if things were going well with Rooftop Oppa as she heard from her daughter, if that's it then she can leave in peace. Choon Hee is obviously tired and trying to get rid of her says that things are progressing with him.
Seol Ju is pacing her living room thinking about Choon Hee, so she decides to call her. She asks if she's eaten lunch yet and Choon Hee says she received some offering rice cakes so she'll just eat that. Seol Ju tells her that she should eat a meal to take care of her body.(She's starting to sound like her Unnie now), the asks if she went to see the director of the orphanage or head nun yet. Choon Hee says she suddenly became busy so she sent the gifts in the mail, she asks if Seol Ju has been by to see her a few times. Seol Ju says she was busy with life and hasn't seen her in almost 30 years. Choon Hee is shocked to know that she hasn't been there since she has left for America since the woman was like a mother to them. Seol Ju notes that and says that she hasn't living like a human. Choon Hee tells her that they should visit her real soon before she gets worse. Then she asks about Seol Ju's husband since he promised that they'd visit her at work, she's wondering when they're going to visit. Seol Ju says she'll ask him about that. After she hangs up, Seol Ju wonders if the director would still remember that after all these years.
Now it's time for the theories about what happened over 30 years ago that would cause Seol Ju to not visit the head nun of her orphanage and want no contact with someone who was like a sister to her, even though her husband knows her and college friend knew she was an orphan. Many suspect it's birth secret, like Se Yoon isn't really his father's son. Makes sense if his mother didn't accept her & wouldn't let her register their marriage.
Chul Gyu visits his mother in her office asking if she's eaten lunch, but she sits back with her eyes closed and doesn't respond. He's trying to make light of the situation and tells her that once you think about it, it's best for them. He says that immigration is just a word and he's not cutting ties with her. He continues saying that they'll live abroad for 2-3 years while Chae Won gets her thoughts together and starts feeling better. Young Ja's face isn't too good as it appears she's trying not to cry. Then her secretary comes in and wants to talk about the electricity situation in their empty warehouse in Paju. Before she speaks, she excuses Chul Gyu out of the room. Once he's gone she asks who they've been using and he tells her Yeong Seong then it looks like she gets an idea. Uh-oh this isn't good. At home, Chae Won is sitting in the living room looking at brochures for properties outside the country like some in Portugal when the door bell rings. The housekeeper informs her the Young Ja is home and she doesn't move, but continues to look at the brochure. She notices that Chae Won didn't say anything to her and scolds her for not speaking. Chae Won acts like she didn't notice anything and that she was looking at the brochures whens she came in. She appears calm and tells her to finish what they were talking about.
She says that Chae Won isn't doing all of this because of Chul Gyu, but only to get back at her for what she's done in the past. She says in order to get back at her, she's living with a man she doesn't love. Isn't that being too cruel. Chae Won says she thought they were done with that conversation earlier, Young Ja says it was her fault for even thinking of solving an emotional problem with money. She leans in and asks what she wants so she can stop them from moving away. Chae Won doesn't hesitate and says that she wants Young Ja to honestly own up to what she's done by writing a contract since she's good at those anyways. Young Ja can hardly believe what's happened and notes that she's raised a tiger club. Yes when you mistreat someone for 3 years then I do think that something happens inside them that make them want to get revenge on you.
Se Yoon arrives to work, but still thinking about what Ju Ri said to him. When he comes into his office, his mother is there worried thinking he was the one who was sick. He tells her that Ju Ri was the one who went, he just made sure she was okay. Seol Ju says that she guesses she's been having hard hard time because of him. She tells him that from now on she won't interfere in his love life because she won't be able to take it they were to become distant. He apologizes saying that he was too harsh on her. She tells him that she only invited JuRi because she saw they were close and looked good together, but if she's not the one for him then so be it. He says that if he ever decides to love again then JuRi may be the best person for him since she knows what he's been through all these years. She holds his hand and smiles. I'm not really liking his thoughts on being with JuRi because it's not love for him(and it never will be), he'd only give her a chance out of convenience. I'm liking how Seol Ju says she's going to back off and let him love someone on his own time. I guess not approving of his relationship with Eun Sol has made her think about things more as a mother & saw what he'd do if she doesn't approve of his relationships. Good for you!
The family is gathered around the table, Pyong Dal says he's thankful that his children have all come to take over the family business. Kkeut Soon says she's also thankful for their kids coming. Do Hee speaks up and says that even though they love money, they can't throw away the family business like that. Almost nothing lasts 100 years these days, Ki Moon reluctantly agrees with her. Ki Ok says that they are all blessed that their father is full of love. Ki Choon then stands up and says he has a testimony to give, even Kang Sook is surprised at this. He starts talking about his trauma with noodles, about how even the sight of them makes him sick. He says that after watching his father's video, he knows he can overcome his trauma and be a successful heir to the family business.
Se Yoon comes home and looks at the pictures of him and Eun Sol in his camera, then he comes upon one with Ju Ri and Eun Sol. He tries calling her, but her phone is turned off. Ju Ri is sitting in the hospital when her mother comes in 'worrying' about how she hasn't taken care of herself to end up there. JuRi says she's fine, she's just exhausted and stressed. She says that she's still there to receive check ups and to get some rest. Young Ja knows that something else is going on with her and asks if it's that guy she's been talking about. She says it's because he has another woman, she asks why get her man stolen by another woman. Now she wants his phone number, but JuRi refuses saying they're not at that stage for them to be mingling. JuRi asks if something else is going on and is told that her brother wants to immigrate. JuRi asks if he's crazy, but Young Ja says that it's all Chae Won's doing. JuRi never believed that she was like that. Back at home, the housekeeper is making porridge for JuRi and is thankful that Chae Won has offered to take it to her instead. Se Yoon arrives at the hospital just as Young Ja is leaving. She tries acting nicely by apologizing to him for what she's done. It's obvious he doesn't believe her and walks away, but he can't get away fast enough when she tells him about Chul Gyu and Chae Won leaving the country. That strikes a nerve and he doesn't appear happy. He goes to see JuRi and asks why she turned her phone off, she says she just wanted to rest then asks if he was worried. He tells her yes he was worried that something happened, she laughs to herself at the thought of him worrying about her since it makes her happy.
Then we have Chae Won arriving at the hospital to give JuRi the porridge that was made. Se Yoon is talking to JuRi near the elevators and tells him that she put a lot of thinking in before she confessed her feelings. She says she thought of Eun Sul and if confessing would be betraying her and what she would've done had their roles been reversed. She says that she thought loving her was better than him loving another woman. JuRi says she knows she's no match for Eun Sul and she's just filling the void. He asks what her reason is for doing this and she says it's because she loves him. She then starts telling him how it wasn't just coincidental that she saw him those other times and even her working at the company, she planned that. He tells her that he'll consider dating her. She's happy and hugs him, he hugs her as well although he looks like he really doesn't want to. I really do hope she knows that he's not doing it because he actually likes her. I didn't like how she made him responsible for her feelings therefore making him feel guilty about her exhaustion and stress. How does he just bypass that mention of her practically stalking him? Getting employed at his company, staging it as if she was meeting him by chance. She's a stalker and really needs to move on with her life. Just as Chae Won is coming around the corner she sees him and then notices that's JuRi, she didn't know they knew each other. He leaves on the elevator and JuRi is on cloud 9. In her room, she asks Chae Won if she noticed her with a man and she says yes she did. JuRi is going on about how he's going to become a part of their family, asking Chae Won if he's good looking. She's moving a little too ahead of herself isn't she? Once he finds out who her mother is, I doubt he'd give her a chance then.
Choon Hee finds a letter on her porch, but it doesn't say who it's from. She opens it when she gets to her room and sees it's from Hyo Dong. In the letter he wants to clear up all the misunderstandings. He first introduces himself and reminds her that he is a single father whose wife died 30 years ago. He says that there have been many blind dates and none of them could soften his hardened heart. He figured that he'd be alone for the rest of his life before he met her. He writes that he fell for her the day she put his hat back on his head. He tried to keep his composure by saying his wife was still alive, but he was already in love by that time. He says that the day he kissed her wasn't because he thought lightly of her, but it was his awkward expression of his feelings. He hopes that there are no more misunderstandings between them and hopes she's not angry. She laughs to herself and appears to be happy about it, noting how unique he is.
Chae Won comes home and is lead to Young Ja's room by her husband who says that she has made a decision. She's written a contract admitting to all of her wrong doings and promising to never torture her again. She's also giving her the rights to run the house. Young Ja still looks sad and says that she can't live without Chul Gyu. She starts to cry about how she needs him since he's been there as a husband and friend to her, she doesn't need much in life but him. She tries to grab her hand, but Chae Won pulls away and promises she'll begin to change. Then she gets out of bed and kneels down before Chae Won to beg for her forgiveness. Chul Gyu tells her to calm down, it looks like she's having a mental breakdown.
As she's crying, she clutches her chest and looks like she can't breathe. At the hospital all of her tests and scans are normal, it appears it's more psychological than physical. She has aphasia and was caused by some stress or traumatic experience. The doctor says that it can randomly happen and they should keep her calm to help her. They take her home and put her in bed, she asks for a notepad. On it she writes 'Company' telling him to go to work and he leaves. She then writes 'I Want To Be Alone' and Chae Won walks out. We find out that Young Ja changed the company's construction partner to Hyo Dong's company. He's surprised by this and Chul Gyu says that it's best they use someone they know. Hyo Dong accept the contract.
Kang Jin runs into Ki Ok and asks why she hasn't been at the community center helping him, she says she quit and is learning how to make noodles. He tells her that it's her job to stay until she finds a suitable replacement. Kkeut Soon comes up and he asks if she's stopped by the Choon Hee's place, she says no need since she knows they're dating. She gives him a peck on the cheek and Ki Ok looks grossed out. She then invites him over to eat rice cakes with them, he accepts and walks back with her. Ki Ok and Kang Sook are bother surprised at him calling her mom.
Choon Hee is looking at the letter calling him a hillbilly but he's so much like her style. Kang Jin comes to give her rice cakes that Kkeut Soon sent since she's under the impression that they're dating. He says she's really tiring after she tells him that she only lied about their relationship status was because she was suspicious anyways. She makes it known again that he's not her type and she will never like him. He counters that she's not his style either, his ideal type is tall, slender and voluptuous. She says good so they can never be involved. Before he leaves, she makes sure he doesn't take the rice cakes since they were meant for her anyways. It's quite obvious they both hate each other and have no chance at being together.
Se Yoon is at work and thinks back to what Young Ja told him about Chae Won and he's still in disbelief. At the same time, Chae Won burns a shirt while ironing because she's thinking of seeing Se Yoon hugging JuRi. Chul Gyu is talking to his mom and he thanks her for trying so hard to make things work, even thinking of his father-in-law. She nods, but she's still unable to speak.
At the factory in Paju, Hyo Dong and his team are hard at work replacing the wires a lights inside. Chae Won calls him, he says that even though Young Ja is tough on the outside she must be delicate on the inside. He tells her about him rewiring the company's old factory saying it's a mess. Young Ja is texting someone and puts her phone away when Chae Won comes in to give her herbal medicine. Young Ja stares at her before taking the drink. The next morning, Chul Gyu receives a call that the storage his father-in-law was working on is up in flames. Young Ja pokes her head out of her room and it's obvious it's no accident.
Hyo Dong is on his way to work no knowing what has happened. He runs into Choon Hee and he asks about the letter. She jokes saying that they're no children so what's up with the letter. She tells him don't write them in the future(). Before he can ask her about it, a police car comes up and the officer asks him if he's Min Hyo Dong and he says yes. The officer says he's from Paju Police Department and says that he's under arrest as a suspect that started the fire at the storage he's been working on. Choon Hee looks shocked as does he. End. My guess is that in exchange for the charges to be dropped on her father, Chae Won will agree ti divorce. We shall see.

Chae Won acts like she didn't notice anything and that she was looking at the brochures whens she came in. She appears calm and tells her to finish what they were talking about.
She says that Chae Won isn't doing all of this because of Chul Gyu, but only to get back at her for what she's done in the past. She says in order to get back at her, she's living with a man she doesn't love. Isn't that being too cruel. Chae Won says she thought they were done with that conversation earlier, Young Ja says it was her fault for even thinking of solving an emotional problem with money. She leans in and asks what she wants so she can stop them from moving away. Chae Won doesn't hesitate and says that she wants Young Ja to honestly own up to what she's done by writing a contract since she's good at those anyways. Young Ja can hardly believe what's happened and notes that she's raised a tiger club. Yes when you mistreat someone for 3 years then I do think that something happens inside them that make them want to get revenge on you.
Se Yoon arrives to work, but still thinking about what Ju Ri said to him. When he comes into his office, his mother is there worried thinking he was the one who was sick. He tells her that Ju Ri was the one who went, he just made sure she was okay. Seol Ju says that she guesses she's been having hard hard time because of him. She tells him that from now on she won't interfere in his love life because she won't be able to take it they were to become distant. He apologizes saying that he was too harsh on her. She tells him that she only invited JuRi because she saw they were close and looked good together, but if she's not the one for him then so be it. He says that if he ever decides to love again then JuRi may be the best person for him since she knows what he's been through all these years. She holds his hand and smiles. I'm not really liking his thoughts on being with JuRi because it's not love for him(and it never will be), he'd only give her a chance out of convenience. I'm liking how Seol Ju says she's going to back off and let him love someone on his own time. I guess not approving of his relationship with Eun Sol has made her think about things more as a mother & saw what he'd do if she doesn't approve of his relationships. Good for you!
The family is gathered around the table, Pyong Dal says he's thankful that his children have all come to take over the family business. Kkeut Soon says she's also thankful for their kids coming. Do Hee speaks up and says that even though they love money, they can't throw away the family business like that. Almost nothing lasts 100 years these days, Ki Moon reluctantly agrees with her. Ki Ok says that they are all blessed that their father is full of love. Ki Choon then stands up and says he has a testimony to give, even Kang Sook is surprised at this. He starts talking about his trauma with noodles, about how even the sight of them makes him sick. He says that after watching his father's video, he knows he can overcome his trauma and be a successful heir to the family business.
Se Yoon comes home and looks at the pictures of him and Eun Sol in his camera, then he comes upon one with Ju Ri and Eun Sol. He tries calling her, but her phone is turned off. Ju Ri is sitting in the hospital when her mother comes in 'worrying' about how she hasn't taken care of herself to end up there. JuRi says she's fine, she's just exhausted and stressed. She says that she's still there to receive check ups and to get some rest. Young Ja knows that something else is going on with her and asks if it's that guy she's been talking about. She says it's because he has another woman, she asks why get her man stolen by another woman. Now she wants his phone number, but JuRi refuses saying they're not at that stage for them to be mingling. JuRi asks if something else is going on and is told that her brother wants to immigrate. JuRi asks if he's crazy, but Young Ja says that it's all Chae Won's doing. JuRi never believed that she was like that. Back at home, the housekeeper is making porridge for JuRi and is thankful that Chae Won has offered to take it to her instead. Se Yoon arrives at the hospital just as Young Ja is leaving. She tries acting nicely by apologizing to him for what she's done. It's obvious he doesn't believe her and walks away, but he can't get away fast enough when she tells him about Chul Gyu and Chae Won leaving the country. That strikes a nerve and he doesn't appear happy. He goes to see JuRi and asks why she turned her phone off, she says she just wanted to rest then asks if he was worried. He tells her yes he was worried that something happened, she laughs to herself at the thought of him worrying about her since it makes her happy.
Then we have Chae Won arriving at the hospital to give JuRi the porridge that was made. Se Yoon is talking to JuRi near the elevators and tells him that she put a lot of thinking in before she confessed her feelings. She says she thought of Eun Sul and if confessing would be betraying her and what she would've done had their roles been reversed. She says that she thought loving her was better than him loving another woman. JuRi says she knows she's no match for Eun Sul and she's just filling the void. He asks what her reason is for doing this and she says it's because she loves him. She then starts telling him how it wasn't just coincidental that she saw him those other times and even her working at the company, she planned that. He tells her that he'll consider dating her. She's happy and hugs him, he hugs her as well although he looks like he really doesn't want to. I really do hope she knows that he's not doing it because he actually likes her. I didn't like how she made him responsible for her feelings therefore making him feel guilty about her exhaustion and stress. How does he just bypass that mention of her practically stalking him? Getting employed at his company, staging it as if she was meeting him by chance. She's a stalker and really needs to move on with her life. Just as Chae Won is coming around the corner she sees him and then notices that's JuRi, she didn't know they knew each other. He leaves on the elevator and JuRi is on cloud 9. In her room, she asks Chae Won if she noticed her with a man and she says yes she did. JuRi is going on about how he's going to become a part of their family, asking Chae Won if he's good looking. She's moving a little too ahead of herself isn't she? Once he finds out who her mother is, I doubt he'd give her a chance then.
Choon Hee finds a letter on her porch, but it doesn't say who it's from. She opens it when she gets to her room and sees it's from Hyo Dong. In the letter he wants to clear up all the misunderstandings. He first introduces himself and reminds her that he is a single father whose wife died 30 years ago. He says that there have been many blind dates and none of them could soften his hardened heart. He figured that he'd be alone for the rest of his life before he met her. He writes that he fell for her the day she put his hat back on his head. He tried to keep his composure by saying his wife was still alive, but he was already in love by that time. He says that the day he kissed her wasn't because he thought lightly of her, but it was his awkward expression of his feelings. He hopes that there are no more misunderstandings between them and hopes she's not angry. She laughs to herself and appears to be happy about it, noting how unique he is.
Chae Won comes home and is lead to Young Ja's room by her husband who says that she has made a decision. She's written a contract admitting to all of her wrong doings and promising to never torture her again. She's also giving her the rights to run the house. Young Ja still looks sad and says that she can't live without Chul Gyu. She starts to cry about how she needs him since he's been there as a husband and friend to her, she doesn't need much in life but him. She tries to grab her hand, but Chae Won pulls away and promises she'll begin to change. Then she gets out of bed and kneels down before Chae Won to beg for her forgiveness. Chul Gyu tells her to calm down, it looks like she's having a mental breakdown.
As she's crying, she clutches her chest and looks like she can't breathe. At the hospital all of her tests and scans are normal, it appears it's more psychological than physical. She has aphasia and was caused by some stress or traumatic experience. The doctor says that it can randomly happen and they should keep her calm to help her. They take her home and put her in bed, she asks for a notepad. On it she writes 'Company' telling him to go to work and he leaves. She then writes 'I Want To Be Alone' and Chae Won walks out. We find out that Young Ja changed the company's construction partner to Hyo Dong's company. He's surprised by this and Chul Gyu says that it's best they use someone they know. Hyo Dong accept the contract.
Kang Jin runs into Ki Ok and asks why she hasn't been at the community center helping him, she says she quit and is learning how to make noodles. He tells her that it's her job to stay until she finds a suitable replacement. Kkeut Soon comes up and he asks if she's stopped by the Choon Hee's place, she says no need since she knows they're dating. She gives him a peck on the cheek and Ki Ok looks grossed out. She then invites him over to eat rice cakes with them, he accepts and walks back with her. Ki Ok and Kang Sook are bother surprised at him calling her mom.
Choon Hee is looking at the letter calling him a hillbilly but he's so much like her style. Kang Jin comes to give her rice cakes that Kkeut Soon sent since she's under the impression that they're dating. He says she's really tiring after she tells him that she only lied about their relationship status was because she was suspicious anyways. She makes it known again that he's not her type and she will never like him. He counters that she's not his style either, his ideal type is tall, slender and voluptuous. She says good so they can never be involved. Before he leaves, she makes sure he doesn't take the rice cakes since they were meant for her anyways. It's quite obvious they both hate each other and have no chance at being together.
Se Yoon is at work and thinks back to what Young Ja told him about Chae Won and he's still in disbelief. At the same time, Chae Won burns a shirt while ironing because she's thinking of seeing Se Yoon hugging JuRi. Chul Gyu is talking to his mom and he thanks her for trying so hard to make things work, even thinking of his father-in-law. She nods, but she's still unable to speak.
At the factory in Paju, Hyo Dong and his team are hard at work replacing the wires a lights inside. Chae Won calls him, he says that even though Young Ja is tough on the outside she must be delicate on the inside. He tells her about him rewiring the company's old factory saying it's a mess. Young Ja is texting someone and puts her phone away when Chae Won comes in to give her herbal medicine. Young Ja stares at her before taking the drink. The next morning, Chul Gyu receives a call that the storage his father-in-law was working on is up in flames. Young Ja pokes her head out of her room and it's obvious it's no accident.
Sorry this took long, episode 12 is coming up real soon. Life has been super crazy lately. Again sorry for those who rely on these recaps instead of watching the episodes, I will have episode 12 up real soon.
