Drama Review: Detectives of Seonam Girls High School Episode 5
One episode per week is reeealllyy gonna kill me some day. I am so impatient to watch the show then it ends and I am sad I have to wait an entire week before the next episode. Here's hoping I can last until the finale..
Episode 5 begins where episode 4 left off, Ha Ra Ohn's art gallery opening where chaos ensues and he gets shot in the knee. Now it's a case of whodunnit.
This episode went by way too fast for me, before I knew it we saw Chae Joon hugging Ye Hee thinking she was Mi Do (more on that later). For me, it shows a testament to the writer and everyone involved in the drama, I get so engrossed in the story that an hour flies by like it's been 20 minutes. So thank you cast and crew for doing a wonderful job.
The case this time is who ruined Ra Ohn's art gallery opening and shot him? Obviously, whoever did it didn't want him dead, they were simply set out to halt his gallery for a while before [I'm guessing] their real plan is put into motion. Right away. we were given a list of possible suspects: Mr. Ha, someone from his anti fancafe, or his manager. Each one was given an significant amount of screen time for us or the girls to possibly suspect them without taking too long to refute it which is good since it'll also get us viewers into looking into all the possibilities. Everyone would have a motive [well in their own views] to want him to suffer, but we're only aware of his antis and I hope they're able to track that user's IP address, but if they were able to carry it out then not sure if they'd make it so easy to find them. Although I have a slight theory: What if the person who was responsible for throwing paint soaked towels at the paintings isn't the same one responsible for shooting Ra Ohn? Stay with me here, the girls only found the mysterious post on the anti fancafe referring to the paint destroying the photographs, it said nothing about shooting anyone. My guess is the person who shot Ra Ohn was going to do it anyways, but the antis throwing paint soaked towels took advantage of the situation, shot Ra Ohn then left before anyone could see them....or did they? Hmm.....

Speaking of Ahn Chae Joon. I'm not sure what to think about him at this moment. I know his character description says he's kind of naive, but dude has got to be in his mid-twenties; why on earth does he have any interest in a high schooler? I mean, it has to be gotta creepy that she's practically cyber stalked him for years and is suddenly friends with his kid sister. Then again, Chae Joon may not be the best judge of character and not so street smart. As naive as he may be, he has been failry truthful and the same cannot be said for Mi Do. She really likes him, but was insecure about her looks so she went as far as photoshopping her face on someone else's body and that really will change her chances of being with him. Chae Yool did warn her about lying that way, but being a teenager, she wasn't really thinking that far ahead. It will be interesting to see how things play out now that he thinks she's Ye Hee.
