A Hundred Years' Inheritance/Legacy(백년의 유산): Episode 6 Recap

Episode 6

   We begin episode 6 when Chae Won meets Se Yoon to discuss the most heartbreaking thing she's heard since losing her memory: She's been having an affair with Se Yoon and her husband has no idea. Of course this is what Young Ja tells her in an effort to finally get rid of her, but she thinks it really happened since her MIL had "proof". She meets with Se Yoon to tell what happened, but all he can do is complain about seeing her and wondering what on earth she could want now.
He reminds her that he doesn't get into other peoples' lives and she must think he's easy since they've run into each other a few times. Before he could finish, she throws water at his face demanding why did he lie to her and didn't tell her what was really going on between them. Why didn't she know that they were in an extra-marital relationship. It's no surprise that that he doesn't know what she's talking about then asks if she's a gold digger. He accuses her of being a fraud and using her amnesia to use to men to get their money. She scoffs at that and tells him she can't be friends with him anymore and he says that's what he's been saying. She's asks him how could he break up with her like that and how could he do that to her, but he just says who liked whom? She tells him that her mother-in-law told her everything and he repeats that: Mother-in-law? She tells him she wonders how she could betray her husband and mother-in-law like that, but some good came out of it: if it wasn't for the accident then they would have continued their relationship. He laughs and tells her that he met her for the first time as the mental hospital and says she's not his type(Not yet at least ;p). She apologizes for appearing clingy, but she needed to hear from him directly and she was a fool for thinking she could trust him. She gets up to leave then he follows her. He wonders if she lost her intellect with her memories asking does it make sense that they were together. He reminds her why he was at the hospital and he just happened to see her there. She tells him that there is no proof that she was ever hospitalized; no records or her on the security videos. He says that can't be right. She tells him that even if he changed his mind to break up shouldn't he at least have a little etiquette? Though he's still stuck at the "there's no record of me being hospitalized" part and asks if there really isn't any record of her being there. She says there's no reason for them to ever meet again. He's left standing alone still wondering why there weren't any records of her there when Seok Jun clearly check her charts for him. Confused, he calls him but to now answer. 

  Next, we see the sole reason Young Ja put Chae Won in a mental facility: The shareholders meeting where there's a vote to make Chul Goo a representative in the company. He's voted in and both mother and son are over the moon. He promises to stay focused and keep that as a priority. She tells him that all of their employees and fmailies are relying on him. He says that he knows and this experience has taught him a lot. Young Ja: 'Experience?' He says that ever since Chae Won lost her memory, he's realized that he hurt a lot of people. He takes her hand makes a promise to be a better person and be a better husband to Chae Won, he even promises to have children, but brushes it off saying he doesn't have to promise anything. He has a great idea and she says they should have a great dinner with some champagne. Her mood sours when he wants to have a family dinner with Chae Won included and runs off to buy her a present. When he leaves, she calls their attorney and informs him to continue with Chul Goo's and Chae Won's divorce. Chul Goo invites Joo Ri to dinner, but she declines and says she has other plans. When she says that, Se Yoon asks her to dinner. She asks if something is wrong and just says that he wants to get drunk and take him to one of her favorite places. We know that Joo Ri is elated with this.

      Choon Hee is cleaning up her cafe when someone walks in, she yells that she's closed and becomes unhappy when she sees who it is: Kkeut Soon. She asks what she's doing there since her son-in-law hasn't been there. Kkeut Soon feigns ignorance and says she's there to pay part of the tab, 10,000 won per day as she promised. Choon Hee says that she doesn't have to come by everyday to pay the money, that she could save up until she gets to 300,000 and give it to her then so they won't have to see each other's faces all the time. Kkeut Soon asks if she did anything wrong for her trying to avoid her, but Choon Hee denies it saying who's trying to avoid anyone and she's just worried about her legs since she has to walk there everyday. Kkeut Soon becomes offended saying she's fine and doesn't need surgery at this stage in her life even though most of her friends are having health problems. She pushes past Choon Hee to make sure that Hyo Dong hasn't been there, she reiterates that she hasn't been there so she can be at peace and leave. Kkeut Soon gives her the 10,000 won and leaves. Leaving Choon Hee irritated. When Kkeut Soon comes home, Pyong Dal asks where she's been and she says important business. She then asks Hyo Dong what kind of soup he'd like for dinner and says anything that makes is fine with him, she offers to make dried Pollock soup since she made it last the pot disappeared(Hehe Gotta love how she's messing with him, trying to get him to fess up to it). Pyong Dal says why if there hasn't been anyone drinking, he wants scorched rice. Hyo Dong remembers something and hands his father-in-law an envelop full of money, 5 million won to be exact. He says he earned it after the 100th Anniversary. Pyong Dal doesn't want to take the money, but Hyo Dong says that he meant to give it to him on his 80th birthday but since he didn't celebrate it, he kept them in his account. Pyong Dal is grateful for it since he knows he's not his son. (Hyo Dong is 10x more grateful than Pyong Dal's actual kids, he's always willing to help him out.)

           We see Do Hee being her overly dramatic self, trying to gain sympathy from Ki Moon. She whines that the more she thinks about it, the more she feels humiliated and she's not treated like a human being by their family. He says she's being too sensitive and she says that he wasn't there so he doesn't know. She said if Ki Choon hadn't stopped Kang Sook then she would have pounded her with the pig's foot. She says that she's scared of Kang Sook and her eyes glazed over when money was mentioned. Do Hee claims that for the sake of peace in the family she endured it, but she gets angrier the more she thinks about it. Ki Moon becomes upset and calls his brother to complain about what happened with his wife. Ki Choon is trying to calm the situation by saying that Kang Sook would never do that, but she overhears it and takes the phone. When she answers, Do Hee yells saying that everyone knows now and she can't bring out a duck's foot anymore. Kang Sook replies that she's never brought out duck's feet before, then she's called childish and their speech don't match. Kang Sook agrees saying that how can a high school dropout match up a college graduate like her, but at least she doesn't slander anyone's name. Do Hee is shocked and says does she not know her limit(As in up and down), she gets a reply that says yes. she doesn't know and was never taught. By this time Do Hee is screaming into the phone with Ki Moon watching trying to figure out what's being said. Kang Sook says that she's sorry, but doesn't she think she's being a little too much? Do Hee isn't satisfied and Kang Sook asks if she really wants to fight it out by this time Ki Choon takes the phone from her. He asks her if she's crazy and she replies yes because she's lacking confidence since she doesn't have 5 million won. It's making her go crazy. She starts crying saying how she can't even pay Bo Reum's academy fee and the bills on time. Ki Choon is about to drink a bottle of Soju and she stops him. He then apologizes to her saying it's because of him that she's suffering. She begs him not to feel that way and accidentally slips and calls him honey. He stops and says "Honey" and hugs her. Bo Reum just shakes his head at both of them.

    Kang Jin comes to visit Ki Ok and she's confused wondering why he's coming by to see her. He tells her that he did an event at a chicken shop and they gave him some free chicken as a thank you for doing a good job. He brought it for her to eat. She accepts, but then he says that since he brought that to her then she can subtract some of the money that he owes her, reluctantly agrees then she notices his button on his jacket is falling off. She offers to fix it for him and he's more than happy that she asked to do that. He falls asleep waiting for her to finish and she wakes him up. He thanks her and remarks that there is a feminine side to her after all. She says there's no need to thank her and there will be a 3,000 won fee and now he owes her 627,000 won. He yells and says when did he ever ask her to fix the button and she retorts when did she ask to eat chicken. She says she's spitting on him and tells him that he was spitting on her. 

     We then see Chae Won washing a comforter in the tub when Young Ja walks in and asks what she's doing. Chae Won says that she changed her bedding and is just washing it. Young Ja asks if she's trying to pay everything back with her body and she doesn't understand. She says that she did everything with another man and pretends like she doesn't know about it all. Chae Won says that she'll tell the truth and ask for forgiveness. Her mother-in-law tells her that she's going to drive a stake through her oblivious son's heart. All She can say is that she's going to tell him and apologize for it, Young Ja is still accusing her of trying to pretend nothing happened. Chae Won says sorry and that she'll do better as a wife to her son. Just as Young Ja is getting ready to rip her a new one, Chul Goo comes home and yells for them. She says they'll continue their conversation tomorrow. He comes home and says he has gifts for his wife. She opens it and it's a phone just like her last one. He apologizes to her saying that it must have been terrible since he hasn't been able to take care of her. He hands her another bag and she's hesitant to open it, but Mommy Dearest and her terrible efforts to be nice encourage her to see what it is. It's a pearl necklace, Chae Won quickly says it would better suit her mother-in-law and tries to give it to her. She says no since her husband had given it to her, so she should take it. Chul Goo agrees saying that his mother has plenty of jewelry and he wants her to have it. He puts it around her neck and Mommy Dearest is making faces(Seriously, what is up with her? She has an unhealthy obsession with her son's relationship). She makes another terrible attempt at being nice by saying it looks so elegant on her. Chul Gyu goes upstairs to change and Young Ja is back to being mean. She snatches the necklace as soon as Chae Won is walking into the kitchen and calls her shameless. In the kitchen, the housekeeper starts talking about how it's all starting again. Chae Won asks what that means and the woman says that today was nothing and she went through a lot worse before. She says that even if she forgot everything else, she couldn't forget the way that woman treated her. Before she could get another word out, Young Ja comes in scolding her again for talking too much.(I really love the housekeeper. No matter how many times Young Ja has scolded her, she still does her best to warn Chae Won). Young Ja just gives her a look that says "You haven't seen anything". 

  Se Yoon is out with Joo Ri and is just taking back shots of Soju. She asks him what's wrong and he tells her it's a personal thing that he doesn't want to talk about since it's nothing. She tells him that even though he's acting like it's nothing, she knows better and can see it's bothering him. He laughs and says that since she was best friends with Eun Seol, she must be just like her when it comes to that. He reminds her of the day she and Eun Seol threw him a surprise 100th day party to celebrate his time with Eun Seol. Joo Ri jokes that she nearly died from blowing up all the balloons. He says that at that time, he couldn't believe he was with her for 100 days. He was his happiest at that point then we hear her thoughts: The amount of time that they knew each other, during that party was the 101st day that she loved him first. We can now see Joo Ri's pain and why she's so stuck on getting him, she's had this love for him for over 3 years. While I don't agree with trying to date your dead best friend's boyfriend, I can feel sorry for her. But it makes me think, how long was she friends with Eun Seol? Was it when Eun Sol & Se Yoon began dating or was it before that? She can see that he's still mourning her and as much as I feel for Joo Ri, she needs to back off and let him slowly get over Eun Seol because even though she died 3 years ago, it's still fresh in his memory. 

   Choon Hee is counting up the day's profits and she assumes that it's short since it's been cold outside. Then she notices 10,000 won and remembers that 'Utility Pole Oppa's Mother-in-law'(Sorry, I just love that nickname since she doesn't know his real name) then she starts thinking about him and how's helped her. She stops herself as soon as she calls him cute reminding herself that she's the goal keeper and a goal keepr doesn't make goals.
    Chae Won is talking to her father who is asking about her day, he doesn't want her to be bored and to go out to meet some friends. She assures him that she's alright and she even left the house earlier. He then asks if there's anything going on between her and her husband, she tells him that he's been so good to her that's it's burdensome. He sighs and says that since he's been so good to her, his heart is at ease. She tells him not to worry since she's alright, he says he's not worried at all and her memory will come back so she just needs to take it easy. As long as her health isn't in jeopardy then everything is okay. Kkeut Soon comes in his room and she hangs up with Chae Won. She wonders who he was talking to since he got off the phone as soon as she came in. He tells it was Chae Won and says that she wanted to speak to her since she hasn't spoken to her in a while. He says that she was tired from her trip and that he'll call her back another time so that they can talk. Kkeut Soon just stares at him and he asks what, she slides a bowel of rice drink towards him and tells him that the rice is plentiful, he drinks it happily. He comments that her rice drinks are the best and she says is he going to drink the entire kettle by himself which causes him to choke a little.
      Se Yoon gets drunk and Joo Ri has to take him home. The housekeeper takes him inside and Seol Ju talks with Joo Ri, who formally introduces herself this time. She says that she didn't make him drink that much so please don't hate her. Something went wrong that day, his mother wonders if it was a company issue and Joo Ri says no it seemed personal. Now Mama is thinking about what it could be, but Joo Ri says that she doesn't know since he didn't tell her. Seol Ju invites her for tea, but is rejected. Joo Ri comments that it's late and the taxi is waiting for her. If she's ever invited again, then she will come.

       Chul Gyu and Chae Won are in bed and he's rubbing her shoulders. He tells her that accidents happen and they can get the necklace fixed, she keeps apologizing and crying. She tells him she has something to say and right when she's about to tell him, her mother in law calls her. Chul Gyu wonders what could his mother want at this time and tells her that they're going to sleep, but she whines and demands to see her real quick. Chae Won says it'll only be a minute and gets out of bed, he's still wondering what she could want at that hour. Young Ja is waiting downstairs for her and immediatly pulls her to the side. She asks what is it and Young Ja starts ripping her. She says that her mask is really thick. She tells her let's say that you didn't know, but now everyone knows and asks how can she sleep in one bed with Chul Gyu and not have one thought. She says that she can't stand the thought of her dirty body sharing the bed with her son so she needs to sleep in the spare bedroom for the time being. Chae Won begs, but she says that they don't know if she's pregnant or not, what if it's not Chul Gyu's baby? They don't want to deal with the paternity test issue and should avoid it. She asks why would she do that and make her into a vicious mother-in-law then Joo Ri comes home and sees Chae Won crying as she runs out. Joo Ri accuses her of going back to the way she was before when she thought everything was going fine. Youg Ja says that she's never once though of her as her daughter-in-law and again Joo Ri wants to know does she want things to go back to the way they were before. Chae Won is sitting outside crying. I have to give my thoughts now since I'll probably forget at the end. What the hell!? I understand her not caring for her, but to seriously lie to say she was cheating on her son just so he'll leave her and won't have to pay alimony is just low. Making this poor woman think she's a cheater and might be pregnant by a man other than her husband is a new one. I can't wait until she gets her memory back so she'll have her backbone again, since she doesn't remember she lost almost all of her confidence when dealing with her mother-in-law. I'm glad that her husband realized his mistakes, but his mother is just psycho. It's sad that she had other women lined up to marry him once Chae Won left him.
  We then see Pyong Dal writing up invitations to celebrate 100 years of the noodle house and are shown scenes of all of his kids. The next day, Hyo Dong is opening the gates of the noodle house and he comments on good of a day it is. Kkeut Soon is cooking up food for the dinner. She expresses her need to interact with her grandchildren and her kids. Pyong Dal walks in and she expresses that he's in a good mood. He asks about his kids and Hyo Dong tells him that they'll be arriving before lunch. They hope it will be a good day.
   Kang Jin comes down to visit Choon Hee and right away starts giving her compliments on her skin, she's not buying it and asks why he's there so early. He laughs and says he came to see if she needed any help with anything and says she can pass for a 23-year-old. She just tells him to say what he has to say quickly and stop saying pointless things, he asks for a bottle of Kimchi. She stops applying her makeup and looks at him. He says that even though he has a Western look, he has traditional taste. He can't eat rice if there is no Kimchi and he just noticed he has none. She tells him that she doesn't have any. He tells her not to be like that and to let him borrow some. She says no and that's not how you live your life, he doesn't understand what she means. She tells him that when she was shoveling snow, he took off and he does that whenever help is needed, but sticks out his hand whenever he needs or wants something. She also said this: "Types of people who swallow if it's sweet and spit it out if it's bitter", she hates the most. He wonders how she could say such things then her phone rings. She answers and it's Seol Ju, Choon Hee is over the moon that she's finally able to talk to her. Choon Hee wonder what took her so long to call her and she says that maybe she got the message wrong(Liar!), she asks did she come back for good and Choon Hee wants to meet in person and not talk over the phone, she reluctantly agrees.

  At work, Se Yoon still has a headache and taking pain relievers isn't going to work. He calls Young Ja. 

Next we see in the car with Chae Won and we know it isn't going to be good. She asks where they are going and she replies that they are going to see the person who wants to see her so bad. Chae Won asks who that is and she just says she'll see when they get there. They arrive at the restaurant to see Se Yoon sitting there, Chae Won automatically stiffens at the sight of him and hesitates to go near him. Young Ja remarks that she must be glad to see him after so long and why is she so stiff. She has a cocky smirk on her face knowing she's getting the best of her, so she heads to sit down. Young Ja asks why he wanted to see her and he says that she should know why. He says it's one thing to make a fool of someone, but it's another thing to involve someone who doesn't know you into your problems. Chae Won tries to get him to stop, but he tells her if she doesn't know anything then to sit still. He told her clearly that if she doesn't apologize sincerely this time then he'll report, she sits up at this and calls him ill-mannered. She says what kind of mother-in-law in Korea would meet the man her daughter-in-law had an affair with and he is defensive. She tells him she thought of her as a daughter not a daughter-in-law and she came here with a real mother's feelings. She claims that she wanted to clear everything up and to go about their separate ways, but now he says he wants to report her. Her voice raises and he accuses them of being con artists. Chae Won is still trying to get him to stop. She says them being con artists doesn't make any sense and does he really see her as that. He asks then why is she doing this to him. She pulls out the pictures she had taken of them and says that she didn't know they were that cozy. He's speechless and all she says is that she wants to end this quietly and quickly. Then she gets up to leave, Chae Won follows her out leaving Se Yoon going through the pictures at the table. Before she leaves, Young Ja tells Chae Won to go back to her family since she can't look at her anymore without being disgusted. Chae Won says that her family still doesn't know anything and is accused of  trying to mooch off of her fmaily. She tells her to pack her stuff and leave. She gets in and drives off, leaving Chae Won in the parking lot. Se Yoon comes out and asks her if she's alright. He tells her that after sitting inside and thinking everything through, he definitely thinks something is up. He asks her isn't it all strange, but she's so in shock that she just walks off without saying a word.

     Seol Ju meets Choon Hee at a restaurant and you can tell she's already regretting meeting her. Choon Hee is so excited to see her after 30 years, her voice is a bit loud as she says "Unnie! Long time no see!" Seol Ju simpl says it's good to see you, sit down. She says that she the secretary informed her that Seol Ju didn't know her, so she had thought she changed a lot. She's happy that she's still the same person. Seol Ju says that she was just told last night that she's been looking for her. Choon Hee says that even if everything else changes, Seol Ju would stay the same person she was when they were in the orphanage. The moment she says that, Seol Ju tells her to lower her voice, but adds that there are other customers. Choon Hee accepts that and grabs her hand again saying that she's missed her. Seol Ju tells her that she's sorry she couldn't contact her all this time, but she was busy making a living(More on this statement later). After a while, Choon Hee takes a box out of her purse and gives it to Seol Ju who then asks what it is, but she's just told to open it. It's full of hair clips, Choon Hee says that since she thought of her she's been saivng these up to give them to her. She also notes that to a prestigious woman like her these are cheap, but asks for her to accept the sincerity of her gift. She then starts telling her story and thanking her for keeping her alive and moving. She says that if it wasn't for those happy memories then she wouldn't be here today. She starts talking about her time in America and how hard she had it in but she just kept going. She asks about Seol Ju's husband, Dong Gyu and reminisces about their dating years and the types of food they ate because it was strange to her. She then asked about her son and said that if he's anything like her and her husband then he must be a flower boy. Seol Ju completely ignores this part and asks if she's her to stay, Choon Hee says yes then adds that no matter where she goes she seems to cause trouble, She's sick of confronting liars, she's been thinking about their hometown so she must be getting old. Seol Ju asks if she has a place to stay and Choon Hee says that she's opened a small cafe, but since she's not married nor does she have any kids then she just lives without starving. The Seol Ju takes out an envelop and sits it on the table. Choon Hee wonders what it is and opens it, to her surprise it's money. Seol Ju tells her that with that money, she could start a new life and perhaps go back to America to start again.

Dear Seol Ju, money won't make your past disappear

All Choon Hee can do is stare at her, but Seol Ju asks if that is to little then she can always give her more. Choon Hee places the envelop down and says that she's changed a lot. She tells her that since she wanted to see her then she must think she's a poor beggar , but Seol Ju says that's not it. She says that it figures since a prestigious woman like her would never want to get involved with a beggar like her. She says that swans band with Swans and ugly ducklings do the same, that's how it is. Seol Ju asks how she could say a thing like that, she gave her the money sincerely because she was worried about her. Choon Hee says she came back because she wanted to see the Unnie she missed from 30 years ago and there really is no job that beats the clock. She wishes her well and leaves. Seol Ju sits there looking confused, like that's not how she thought that meeting would go. Choon Hee walks outside and is more hurt than anything. She wanted to see her after all these years and is treated like a beggar, she feels dirtier every time she thinks about it. What the hell is with you Seol Ju!? This is what happens when you LIE about your past, it comes back to bite you in the ass! From what I see nothing terribly bad happened between them since she also keeps things from then, but now that she's rich she wants nothing to do with Choon Hee. I hope she feels terrible. Handing out money and making it seem like you're being nice about it, it was thoughtless and she was only thinking of herself when she did it. She's become this stuck up rich person who couldn't accept her son's last relationship knowing her mother-in-law never accepted her. You'd think she'd be more humble, but I guess not. Let's hope her interaction with Choon Hee will help her out. 
  Back at the Noodle House, everyone is getting ready for the upcoming celebration. Hyo Dong is asked about Chae Won and he tells them that she will be there with her husband. Ki Choon calls him to tell him that they got a big order in at the last minute and won't be able to come. Since they are on a deadline, Kang Sook scolds him for being on the phone, he apologizes and hangs up. Hyo Dong informs them what just happened. Ki Moon calls Do Hee and tells his wife that Hyo Dong wants to know what's keeping them. She's at some rich person's event(It's something that she could get out of, but it's her excuse since she wants nothing to do with his family) and he tells her to go first since he's on his way to a meeting. By her talking to herself about it, it's obvious she's not going either. Ki Ok just doesn't answer the phone since she knows what he wants. Needless to say, Pyong Dal isn't happy that any of his kids aren't coming. Next he calls Chae Won who is packing her things at the moment. She tells him that she's coming, but without Chul Gyu and lies about a meeting he has. He tells her to hurry since her grandparents are waiting.
   Chul Gyu comes home and apologizes for being late, he had somethings to take care of now that he has a higher position in the company. He then notices her packing and she says she's going to her family's place. He asks why when his mother walks in stating she told her to do so. he fusses at his mom for starting again(Just like Joo Ri did) and scolds her for doing this because she holds a grudge and has to satisfy it. She tells him to be quiet since she's doing this for him, he says no and says they are moving out. Chae Won doesn't want to and he tells her to listen and follow him. All Young Ja does is hand him the pictures and he asks Chae Won what it is. She can't answer so Mommy Dearest does it for her, she tells him that they were love birds and tricked them. She said that she was living fine with them and then suddenly wanted a divorce, she says she had a feeling something was off which is why she treated her the way she did. Young Ja says that's why you treat beggars the way you do because of everything they did for her she just betrayed them. Chae Won just cries and says they can punish her how they please, but to keep it from her family. "That's why Family Education Is important" Young Ja says.

Chul Gyu tells his mom to be quiet and asks Chae Won if they are real, his mother butts in again and says why is he asking since he has the evidence right there. He yells at her once again, he stops but still has a satisfied look.  Chae Won says sorry and cries. He says figures since when he saw Se Yoon in Nam Hae, his gaze at her wasn't normal. He turns to her and asks her how could she do this to him. She says sorry, but she can't remember. She tells him she doesn't know why she would do such a thing, but she's very sorry. She then says that from today on she will leave him.

She says she'll be at her family's house so when he decides then call her. Mommy Dearest puts in her 2 cents and says that what else is there to decide? There's nothing else needed for a divorce. Chul Gyu does the unexpected and grabs her wrist saying she can't go. Who's decision is it for them to divorce. His mother tries to stop him saying that his emotions are speaking and he should take more time to think logically. He pushes his mom off and throws Chae Won's bag back on the bed. He says that if he divorces her then she'll run straight to him. Whose benefit will the divorce be for? He tells her that she can never leave his side and she's going to be with him until the day they die. I don't think Young Ja was expecting this response because she even looks a little scared at this point.
      At the Noodle House, Kkeut Soon is still cooking up the meal to be served, but no one is there. Hyo Dong comes in and tells her that no one has arrived yet. She asks about Chae Won and he says that she'll be coming alone this time, but Kkeut Soon is still happy since she hasn't seen her since she left for her trip. He's about to tell her about Chae Won's condition, but decides to tell her later.  Then we see Choon Hee drinking by herself complaining about Seol Ju. Two men come in and she tells them that she's not serving today since she's drunk. They sit down anyways, which doesn't make her happy. She drunkenly gets up and tells them that she's not open at the moment, but one of them orders two beers. Then the other tells her to get a beer for herself  and they'll pay for it. She gets upset even more and starts speaking informally which doesn't go well either of them. They can't be happy that she doesn't want to serve them and she threatens to call the police since they won't leave. She says she won't sell to anyone like them. Hyo Dong comes in and watches for a minute. One tries to hit her and she asks him to hit her since she can't do anything in this "beggar-type body". She starts pounding his chest in her drunken state and he knocks her to the ground, which is when Ho Dong decides to come in and help. He tries, but is knocked out by the two men. They leave him lying there and Choon Hee doesn't know what to do.
     Se Yoon is pacing his office piecing everything together: A mother-in-law who doesn't like her daughter-in-law, in order to make her son divorce her sent a perfectly healthy woman to the mental hospital. And then that daughter-in-law after escaping the mental hospital loses her memory after getting into an accident, and now her mother-in-law is manipulating the daughter-in-law's situation. The daughter-in-law, who has no idea about anything, accepts the situation her mother-in-law made up as the truth and worries over it. He figures that's the basic outline of it then his phone rings. It's his friend from the hospital, he asks for proof that Chae Won was admitted into the hospital.
  Well surprise, surprise. We see Chul Gyu drinking away his troubles. Chae Won comes in with her bags and attempts to take his drink away saying something bad will happen if he keeps drinking. He pushes her off then notices the bags. He asks her about them and she says that she's going to her family's for the time being.

Under the current circumstances, it's not good for her to be there with him. It's only hurting both of them. He tells her that as he said before, she has to stay by his side forever. He forbids her from ever leaving the house until the day she dies(Like that's not creepy) and says she will be reminded of how big of a mistake it was to betray him everyday. She tells him that he's being cruel. He gets up and grabs her shoulders and tells her that he's never dreamed that she would ever set eyes on another man. He says that he was so determined to not live without her and he's thought about it all the time. he tells her that she's the one who stepped on his sincere heart and she's more cruel. He throws the glass at the wall and scares her. Then she has a flashback to something similar happening, when he threw the glass before and cut her neck. Now she looks at him in fear and confusion. End.
                                                               

 I'm guessing he has amnesia as well because wasn't he the first one to do her wrong? Didn't he cheat on her and that was one of the reasons she wanted to divorce him? I love how he acts betrayed when he's done much worse things to her, but how could he believe his mother? He knows how she is, well maybe not since he's not that bright. But YES! She's finally starting to remember!! It's not her full memory, but that one action triggered something in her and she's finally starting to remember how he was and what he did. The preview looks just as good. I'm guessing she's going to get bits of her memory back in the next episode and fully regain it in episode 8.
