How Did You Get Into K-Dramas?

K-Drama fans come from various countries and cultures so everyone's reasons for watching them is different. Some may have been fans through their parents, friends, or siblings then others may have discovered them on their own. Whatever your reason, I'm sure it's something you won't forget. I know I didn't.

Okay, I'm a bit of a newbie to the whole K-Entertainment scene altogether. I've been a fan of K-Pop for over a year and a K-Drama watcher for about a year. I first got into K-Pop from watching Live! with Kelly last year when Girls' Generation was performing, I thought they were interesting and decided to look into their other songs. I wasn't exactly expecting their songs to be in Korean, but I liked what I heard and saw. This caused me to expand it and look into other artists, but my love for SNSD has always been there since I was introduced to this new genre because of them. Some say "The Boys" flopped, but if it wasn't for that English song I wouldn't have experienced their other music. You may be thinking "What does this have to do with dramas?", well I'm about to tell you. While still familiarizing myself with each member and her various talents, I came upon news that both Yuri and Yoona would be starring in dramas. Since I am a fan, I figured I could see them. I watched Yoona in Love Rain and Yuri in Fashion King then watched Jessica in Wild Romance. I won't give my review on any of them, but these are what got me into dramas. Now I have a list of actors I enjoy watching such as Shin Ha Kyun, Jung So Min, Kim Young Kwang, Lee Min Jung, and Lee Min Ho. I'm still discovering something new, but in my little bit of time as a fan I have tried to catch up on the things I have missed and I have acquired some favorites like Secret Garden and Greatest Love
Now may I ask, how did you get into dramas?
