Rookie Friday: SKarf
Welcome to a new weekly series that will be up every Friday and will highlight a different rookie or underrated artist. This week I will be highlighting SKarf.
SKarf, which stands for Singapore and Korea Are Friends, made their debut on August 14, 2012 with "Oh! Dance". In December 2012, original member and main vocalist Sol, who is Korean, left the group for personal reasons and to pursue a musical acting career. Alpha Entertainment announced they would add two more members to the lineup; JooA (who is Korean) and Hana (who is Japanese) joined Jenny (Korean), Tasha and Ferlyn (both from Singapore).
On May 31, 2013 Skarf made their first comeback with "Luv Virus" and a mini album of the same name. In August of that same year, they held a fan sign event as well. No word on a comeback date, but stay tuned!
