Prime Minister & I: Kwon Yul & Nam Da Jung

     I was going to do a mid-series review, but had writer's block and couldn't think of how to make this one interesting enough...plus it was taking me forever just to type it up. So I should just make an entire post on why I love the main leads and why their chemistry works.

   My current thoughts on Kwon Yul and Nam Da Jung: I actually love these two! Out of other drama couples and contract relationship characters, their relationship truly is based on trust, respect, and understanding. Both are adults, act like it, and were very honest about their reasons for going into the marriage. Their bond evolved very naturally and organically. Da Jung has been playing the wife and mother role because she was fulfilling her duties in their contract, but this never forced Yul to look at her differently. He's been numb for 7 years and it seems like he saw how well Da Jung took care of him and his family despite him not really telling her anything specific. She just dove right in and has proved to be what this family needs to heal from their pain and to fully move on. Little by little, Yul is beginning to care more and more for Da Jung whether he likes it or not. He's constantly worried about her and seeks her out after their disagreements. Which is something I really love about this drama, the misunderstandings are all solved within one episode, nothing has been dragged out minus the mystery behind Yul's late wife's death. Yul and Da Jung resolve their differences quickly which is turn brings them closer together. Whenever she gets into something, Da Jung automatically thinks of how it will affect Yul. Although I do have issues with self sacrificing, it shows she's not always thinking about herself or how she'll be perceived by the public. Now she acknowledges her feelings and isn't denying them however, he still has to come to terms with how he feels about her. Seeing how he couldn't muster up the courage to give her hair clip, it'll be interesting to see how he confesses to her. I mean, a confession on both sides has to come soon. You don't get a hug like that without a confession to follow, right?
