T-Drama Review: When I See You Again Episode 13

This episode felt more like a filler, it was kind of boring aside from some funnier scenes and there wasn't much development. I guess that's to be expected from an episode that aired after the climax of the series.

Don't get me wrong, there were so many lovey dovey scenes that made me smile (and cringe) and I enjoyed seeing An Xi really putting her heart into the relationship. Then we had You Qian getting dating advice from Da Yu who kept giving him movie references, poor guy never really saw the movies so he just ran with it.
Yong Qing seems to be stepping up her game to win make sure You Qian doesn't leave her (did she ever have him??) and is taking any kind of advice she can get from her brother. While he is right on some things, like her needing to step up and get what she wants instead of waiting around, he's wrong when it comes to others. For example, suggesting that she buy You Qian's childhood home in Pu Lang Village seemed nice, but they never thought about how he'd feel about that. Does Yong Qing want him to feel indebted to her or to love her? Before she can try to get someone to love her she needs to love herself which it's quite obvious that she doesn't. It seems she does not allow herself to get close to even getting hurt so she does the dumping herself even if the relationship seems to be going well. Yong Qing's over all development will be very interesting if done right. It was also pretty funny watching her get jealous alongside Jiang Hai Kuo, I'd say these two would get together by the end. Hee.
What I really want to know is what is CEO Luna thinking? Her interrogation at lunch with An Xi and Yan Ze showed she was questioning her as if she was You Qian's mother, but then also as An Xi's mother. It was odd, she wasn't upset, but it seemed as if she was asking herself the questions instead. Poor An Xi thought she was mad at her, but I believe she was more angry with herself than anything. As Yan Ze said, she had no right to be upset. I took that as a double meaning: To An Xi, it meant she has no rights to interfere in You Qian's personal life especially since she'd never had a full conversation with An Xi, but it really meant that CEO Luna had no rights to question anything since she left her family years ago. I am honestly curious as to how she's going to let the fact that she's met her daughter go by like it's nothing. I mean, she's clearly affected by it so I want to see how long she can go around acting as if she's childless.
We also got a surprising reveal this episode, one I really wasn't expecting at all. Zhi Lin is in love with Ya Lu. She didn't explicity say it, but her reaction to Mei Wen casually mentioning him getting with An Xi spoke for itself. She also stated she knew he said he wasn't looking to get married since he had to take care of Ya En thus she's resigned herself to marrying a rich guy. I feel bad, she's putting up this airhead act to attract attention since she can't get the guy she wants. I hope Ya Lu gives her some kind of attention or she finds someone who truly cares about her.
